The short answer
- HyroTrader suits you if you want a cheap first attempt, crypto-only trading, and payouts on request in USDT or USDC.
- Crypto Fund Trader suits you if you want MetaTrader 5 or Match-Trader, markets beyond crypto, or payouts by bank transfer, and you are fine with waiting 15 trading days between payouts.

Price of the first attempt
HyroTrader starts at $9 with Hyro Core, its cheapest program. Its One-Step and Two-Step challenges start at $69 and $59, and on these two the fee is a refundable deposit. Crypto Fund Trader's cheapest program is $40 for a $5,000 account.
Prices grow with account size at both firms, so compare the size you actually want, not the advertised starting price.
Loss limits
Every program at both firms has two limits: a daily loss limit and a maximum loss for the whole account. Break either one and the account is closed.
The widest limits at both firms are in the two-step programs: 5% per day and 10% overall. The one-step programs are tighter. HyroTrader One-Step allows 4% per day and 8% overall. Crypto Fund Trader 1-Phase allows 4% per day and 6% overall, and that 6% is trailing: it moves up with your best balance until it reaches the starting balance.
What a trailing limit means, with numbers
Take a $100,000 Crypto Fund Trader 1-Phase account. At the start, the account fails if equity falls below $94,000. If the balance grows to $107,000, the limit moves up to $100,000 and stays there. From then on, any drop below the starting balance ends the account, even though you were up 7% before.
With a fixed limit, as in a two-step program, the floor stays where it started however far the account grows.
Payouts
HyroTrader pays on request once your share of the profit is at least $25, in USDT or USDC, usually within 24 hours. Crypto Fund Trader pays after 15 trading days or every 30 calendar days, or weekly with a paid add-on, by bank transfer in EUR or USD or in crypto. It requires an identity check first.
Simulated accounts
At both firms, every account is simulated, including the funded stage. Payouts are a share of simulated profit, set by each firm's contract. This is how crypto prop firms work in general, but it is worth knowing before you pay.
What to check before you pay
- Read the current rules on the official site: terms change, and our check date is shown under the table.
- Check that your country and your chosen platform are allowed.
- Find out what happens to the fee if you fail, and whether a reset costs extra.
Risk warning: crypto trading and prop firm challenges are risky. Many traders fail a challenge and lose the fee. Only pay what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.
